Vino’s Picasso
Vinospicasso.com is my most recent exciting site launch. Ben met Mercedes, Vino’s rockin’ owner, back in Fall last year, in his search for an art gallery to get his work on display. In December her previous site wasn’t doing what she needed, so I began hacking away at Wix. I cannot in sound mind recommend Wix, to say the least. We turned to WordPress for the rescue!
Vino’s theme is custom built, designed to display the art gallery’s style and charm with bright colors, sleek menus and vector streaks. Thank goodness for plugins to finish off a good website in good time. My Calendar and WP E-Commerce work brilliantly together to create Vino’s event registration shopping cart.
Vinospicasso.com officially launched in early February, but the original cart plugin, TheCartPress, wasn’t functioning properly. After more testing, planning and altering WP e-commerce to do exactly what was necessary, it works perfectly!
